The goal of the weekly group class is introduce you to the Varity of Ethiopian cultural dances.
Each class covers up to 5 different dance styles. In addition to having fun through this class, Instructors pay special attention to explain the nuances of the different styles and brief participants in the cultural context.
No two sessions are the same. Each week introduces a variation of each regional dance. It takes approximately 5 weeks to cover the full bredth of our program. we recommend two iterations of the program before committing to the progressive program.

Each week builds on previous lessons. The progressive program is great way to gain an in-depth understanding of Ethiopian traditional Music, Dance and culture.
In order to move on to the next level, students go through end of term evaluation by independent professionals which gives confirmation to skills learned and get valuable feedback on progress.
We have a special program designed with our young participants in mind. the junior and youth program will enhance cultural awareness while having fun. The intensity and agility Ethiopian dance requires is fully realized in Junior and your programs.
We encourage recitals and student performances for young people to instill teamwork, dedication and confidence.
